Hunger Games

We just read the Hunger Games in my ELA class, so I got signed permission slips and showed them the movie. I hadn’t seen it before, and it’s always interesting to see how a movie differs from a book, especially one that you enjoyed.

While the movie doesn’t convey the horror of the dystopian society of Panem as well as the novel, I did like some of the additional scenes. This one, after Rue dies, was especially powerful.
